HONOR:
To be a magistrate requires
honor. With out honor, integrity
is impossible. A magistrate's
integrity is tested daily.  A
magistrate is privy to information
that if
exposed may jeopardize
everything from
a police officers safety to the
intimate secrets of a family.
A good magistrate needs to be
honorable.

COMMITMENT:
To be a magistrate requires
commitment. Commitment not
only to the needs
of the citizenry but the agencies
that represent them.  When a
police officer needs help at 3:00
am its commitment that answers
the phone.
A good magistrate needs
commitment.
COURAGE:
To be a magistrate requires
courage.  The courage to do the
right thing
when it’s not the easy thing. The
courage to hold the guilty
accountable regardless of status.
The courage to make correct
immediate decisions based on
available information.
The courage to be fair.
A good magistrate needs to be
courageous.

EXPERIENCE:
Experience is more than listing
your last job on a campaign sign
with your political party and a
promise.  Experience is character,
after it’s been tested and proven.
A good magistrate needs to be
experienced.
